Ron Guay CFP®, EA
Ron Guay started his career in corporate finance at General Electric before finding his North Star and pivoting to personal financial planning over 5 years ago. He is a Managing Director with Falcon Wealth Planning where he works directly with clients and leads the team in the San Jose office.
Ron helps clients align their use of capital with their goals and values to live life on their terms. As a CFP®, he is passionate about promoting financial literacy in the community and aims to educate and coach his clients to make informed financial decisions. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, he brings a high level of tax expertise to all planning engagements. He specializes in serving clients with equity compensation to empower them to manage the complex tax and investment dynamics of their income.
Prior to joining Falcon Wealth Planning, Ron worked as a Financial Planner for a national financial planning firm. He began working as an Advisor at Garrett Investment Advisors after completing his Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Santa Clara University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
Outside work, Ron is an avid sports fan, enjoys hiking and biking around the Bay Area, aims to travel internationally at least once per year with his family, and coaches his boys’ youth soccer teams. He lives in San Jose with his wife, Deepti, and their three boys Sanjeev, Viraj, and Aarush.
