Manage Your Payroll and Tax Information

Costco makes it easy for employees to manage payroll and tax-related information through the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal. ESS provides a convenient way to:

  • View your time cards.

  • Access paycheck stubs.

  • Print W-2 forms.

  • Update your address, bank account, and tax details.

  • Opt-in for electronic delivery of tax forms for faster access.

Tax Forms You Need

W-2: Your Annual Wage and Tax Statement

The W-2 form details your income from Costco and the taxes withheld during the year. This form is essential for filing your tax return.

  • Electronic Delivery: Opt in to access your W-2 through ESS by mid-January.

  • Mail Delivery: If not opted in, W-2 forms are mailed by January 31.

  • Reprints: If you need another copy, you can print one from ESS.

1095-C: Health Care Coverage Information

The 1095-C form outlines the health care coverage provided by Costco for you and your dependents. While not required for submission with your tax return, the information may be needed when filing.

  • Electronic Delivery: Opt in to receive your 1095-C form via email.

  • Mail Delivery: Forms are mailed by January 31 if you haven’t selected electronic delivery.

  • Reprints: Access another copy through healthefxforms.us/cw. First-time users must register on the site.
