Residential Real Estate Commissions Settlements

If you sold a home and paid a commission to a real estate agent, then you may be part of a class action settlement.

What are the Settlements about?

The lawsuit alleges that there various real estate companies involved in an unfair agreement that caused home sellers to pay higher commissions to real estate agents or brokers, which violated antitrust laws.

The current value of all settlements is over $980 million.

How do I know if I'm part of the Settlements?

To be eligible to receive the benefits of the Settlements, you must have: (1) sold a home during the Eligible Date Range; (2) listed the home that was sold on a multiple listing service (“MLS”) anywhere in the United States; and (3) paid a commission to any real estate brokerage in connection with the sale of the home.

You can submit a claim for all settlements by clicking “File a Claim” below. You only need to file one claim for each home you sold.
