Ron Guay CFP®, EA

Ron Guay began his finance career on the corporate side at General Electric before finding his true calling in personal financial planning more than seven years ago. He is a Managing Director at Falcon Wealth Planning, where he works directly with clients and leads the team in the San Jose office.

Ron helps clients align their use of capital with their goals and values to live life on their terms. As a CFP®, he is passionate about promoting financial literacy in the community and aims to educate and coach his clients to make informed financial decisions. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, he brings a high level of tax expertise to all planning engagements, specializing in serving clients with equity compensation to help them manage the complex tax and investment dynamics of their income.

Before joining Falcon Wealth Planning, Ron was registered as a Financial Planner for Prosperity Capital Advisors and began his advisory career at Garrett Investment Advisors after completing his Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Santa Clara University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

Outside of work, Ron is an avid sports fan who enjoys hiking and biking around the Bay Area, traveling internationally with his family at least once a year, and coaching his boys’ youth soccer teams. He lives in San Jose with his wife, Deepti, and their three sons: Sanjeev (12), Viraj (10), and Aarush (7).
