Sophia Shahin

Director of Education

Sophia is one of Falcon Wealth Planning’s longest-serving team members and has been around since the inception of the company. Prior to Falcon Wealth Planning, she served in various roles in the biomedical industry at the University of Southern California and the City of Hope. She taught at Azusa Pacific University and Citrus College and is currently a biology and epidemiology professor at Los Angeles Pacific University and California State Polytechnic University.

Sophia has spearheaded e-learning Alpha Sites and managed many labs of different sizes and goals. Her primary responsibility is in Human Resources and employee engagement satisfaction. She is highly skilled in communication and management, making her an invaluable addition to the team.

Sophia graduated with a Master’s degree in Pathology from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D in Molecular Biology from City of Hope School. In addition, she also holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Sciences from Azusa Pacific University. Throughout her academic career, she has published extensively in high-impact factor academic journals.

In her spare time, Sophia enjoys traveling with her family and husband Gabriel, the Falcon Wealth Planning founder and President. She is also heavily engaged in her church as a Sunday School teacher and loves to relax by the beach.
